today is chemistry practical
so nervous
the first time for this year
i did try my best to study for the practical(skill D)
i pray hard that everything goes smoothly

however,things can't be predicted
or being control by our bare hands
Econs mates and I were abit late for the practical
as our Econs teacher overtime the lesson.

when i reached the chem lab
i quickly take my things and get to my place
i was panting like hell
as we ran from the tutorial block to the lab block

during the practical,i was so nervous
can't calm myself down
i misread the one of the procedures
which is to measure 0.15g of powder,i when to measure 100cm^3 of powder
which is about 1.00g
it's kinda weird
hence i read the procedure again
i measure 0.15g of powder after that
see how nervous i was.heehe :D

during the practical,some things went wrong
i din put the delivery tube properly,
which i can't get an accurate vol. of carbon dioxide evolved
the second time,i repeat the procedures.

Anyway,the mock practical is a good experience for me! (:

 

i woke the usual time for weekends
and i help my mum to wash cups in the morning!
heehe :D
the plan for today was to go out with mum and grandma
but unfortunately,grandma went on date with her friends

So we went Margret Drive that hawker centre for lunch,
to eat ShangHai Dumplings
the stall was well-rated on tv programme
so we went there to eat
the fried dumplings was crispy and juicy
one word : DELICIOUS!

after lunch,we went Bugis to shop
however,the things we bought were just food and tibits
after that,we went home
but we enjoyed ourselves today :)

After so many intensive band practices
things can't be predicted
"expected the unexpected"
things do not go in the way you want it to be

YTD was Year 2 and 3 the first and last time for SYF
thing goes smoothly throughout the practice in the morning
we had chocolates to give us sugar rush
and Banana for carbohydrates

everybody was excited or nervous before SYF
when we reached TRCC,we're still quite relax
Yvonne(ex-clarinet SL) came down to support
Hazmi and Latiff came to watch and also support us.lolx

When we're going to the Tuning Room
my heartbeat was beating faster than usual
feeling so nervous
when we were waiting at the backstage
i just feel something wasn't right
my clarinet was so cold when i just had my warm-up
i kept blowing warm air,but din work
i was totally freaked out

when we were on stage
i was damn nervous
flashback of what happen at HCI
for overture 2,i din play for the intro bars
cause my notes just couldn't come out
if i force it to come out
it will either squeak or off-tune
as for finale,it was still okay

honestly speaking,my best SYF reed "broke-down" the day before SYF
hence i used Zonda reed 3,which i just took two days ago
things were like out of my control
it seems like nothing can help me to control it

When the SYF result was out
everyone was so nervous
i was holding Ahmouse and Kinne's hand
praying for the best to get out of our band
Band no. 7 [Millennia Institute] : Bronze
everyone was shock
tears flowing out of my eyes
the disappointment on everyone's face
afterall,Mr Lim and Ms Huang still Love us okay!!!

Things just need some time to accept it
after SYF,
i went for dinner with Kinne,Yvonne,Ahmouse,KengGuan and helmi
we went to eat Japanese food at YewTee

after all the nice foods,
it's time to go home and rest
and start a new day tmr :)

today i left my house at around 8.45am
as i meeting Aaron-isabella at my bus stop
in the end,he reached at 9.05am liddat
so i sort of wasted my 20mins at the bus-stop stone-ing

after that,we went to school tgt to settle some stuff
we got the type-writer machine from Mr Zac Lim
and i started playing with it
i printed another tag for my clarinet
as the previous one is going to drop off soon
den aaron print tags for the new tuners
so that we will not lose any tuner there.

we reached HCI at around 12 plus
and the host guided us to two of their classrooms
there were lots of other jc bands people
-ACIB, RI, TJC, VJC, NYJC, JJC, MJC, HCI, HCJC
and i saw Fiona, Amir and Alvin in jjc band

during this exchange,all the bands will play their set and choice piece
some of the school played quite well
while some are still okay
half-way through,i fell asleep
as i din really have sufficient sleep the day before
hahas

the details of how the band played will be remembered in our mind!

ytd and today i have challenge myself to do more things than usual :
i was kinda enthu to move all the percussions instruments and tuba
maybe i wasn't in good mood den trying to do sth to keep myself in mood
lolx
i tried carried the tuba and baritone sax. down the stairs
i'm STRONG!!!
i did before carrying glocks and pushing a bass drum at the same time
self-challenge?hahas
however ytd nite,i nearly drop the vibre while carrying it with Jerry
i think my right hand abit no strength after the soundtrack
my wraist was quite pain after the soundtrack,as usual

anyway,today is a sucky day.. 

yesterday was a tiring daybut quite fun!
i sort of learnt a new instrument!!!
DOUBLE BASS~ ( cool rite? )
the double bass was quite tall but luckily i'm not too short for it
hahas
my fingers can be quite painful initially
but den i got use to it after awhile
it was so fun!

suddenly,i like bass instrument!!!hahas
and i love playing super low notes on my B-flat clarinet
it's so cool to play those notes
as you'll feel the reed vibrating to the max.!
and it sound POWERFUL :)

ytd,before we leave for soundtrack
we were having sectional
but i kinda din make full use of it
as i was feeling that well that time
maybe it's because ot lack of sleep
that i always have headache.

dinner was at around 5plus
guess what's it?
rice with spicy stuff expect the fish cake
wth~
can't really take too spicy food
if not i will get sick again
hahas

the bus came at 6pm
by the time we reach REPUBLIC CULTURAL CENTRE was abt 7pm
there was jams on the way
however,when we left,and the lorry was not here yet

by the time we start our rehearsal
without the tuba and percussions
the actual soundtrack starts around 8 plus
when the lorry reached there

the soundtrack was wonderful
the band sounds quite good there
and the whole soundtrack ends at 11plus

everybody were like rushing here and there
those who stay near sch must go back sch first
wth
but got no choice, i left my things in sch also
haahas

we reached sch was 11.30pm
by the time,we pack our stuff,it was already 12midnite
luckily,Mr Zac Lim sent me and abu home

however,i still to meet aaron-isabella in the next morning
sianx
it's going to be another tiring day..

it was totally crap and random!
